Hi, I’m Sam one of the coordinators based in our Kusadasi hospital. I moved to Turkey 9 years ago from the UK to work in tourism. As someone who was always dietting and was up and down in weight from my teenage years, In 2021 I made the decision to have the gastric sleeve myself. I underwent surgery at our Kusadasi Hospital and whilst I had a choice of hospitals and clinics here in Turkey to choose from, as an native English person living in Turkey - I choose Get Slim in Turkey as they are the only company providing 24/7 English speaking carers. Having experienced Turkish hospitals previously, having a team of translators and carers was extremely important to me.

Since the surgery I have gone to on lose over 9 stone and I regard the sleeve as one of the best things I have ever done for myself, not only has it improved my overall health and given me a new lease on life - but I now have the opportunity to help and advise others considering the surgery.

Been predominantly based in our Kusadasi hospital, allows me to meet many of our patients and whilst we all have our own unique reasons for needing the surgery - having the opportunity to be part of someone’s weight loss journey, and seeing the transformations of people month by month makes this role extremely rewarding.
